ACI Boats builds customizable aluminum catamarans and monohulls. Our boats are engineered with a standardized and proven hull design that optimizes, efficiency, performance, and safety. We design our boats to be owner operated, durable, comfortable, and fuel efficient. Cory Armstrong has decades of experience building aluminum boats, specifically catamarans. He has arguably built more aluminum catamarans than anyone in North America, and has dedicated his entire career to building and refining these boat designs to match marine advancements. Working alongside Cory, we have a team of highly skilled engineers, designers, welders, and craftsman producing some of the best aluminum boats on the market. The strength of our aluminum boats is in the hull design. We are consistently updating our designs to optimize the most up to date technology, propulsion systems, and listening to the unique needs of our clients. Every detail is engineered, designed, and executed with dedication. When choosing a boat builder, quality and trust is everything– ACI boats delivers with a safe, smooth vessel that looks good on the water and is built to last.

Located in the Pacific Northwest, ACI Boats is founded on generations of boat building experience.

Owned and operated by Cory Armstrong, and backed by a team of skilled craftsmen and women.

Cory may be most well known with his work at Armstrong Marine where he spent over 20 years as partner, overseeing the design and fabrication of hundreds of aluminum boats.  Cory grew up in the remote islands off British Columbia, where his parents settled after sailing up to Canada from San Francisco in 1968. Living completely off grid, and traveling to school by way of a wooden paddle boat, Cory began working in metal shops and learning how to weld at a young age. Going to school during the day, and working at night Cory learned the importance of efficiency, and strong work ethic. By 17 years old Cory was the lead night welder at Western Aluminum Craft.  Cory went on to gain extensive hands on experience within the industry. Along with founding Armstrong Marine, Cory was also involved in Moose Boats, a successful Aluminum Boat builder in Vallejo, CA. He is a USCG 100 Ton Master, with an Auxiliary Sail & Towing Endorsement, and has logged sea time in waters around the world. He is a certified welder, private pilot, and scuba diver. A strong believer in designing and implementing efficient business and production processes, Cory is an advocate for Lean Manufacturing and in 2014 became a certified ISO auditor. With all of Cory’s experience and knowledge, the decision to start ACI Boats was a natural progression.
